You were still in the hospital, and we met your new doctor on rounds. She did not seem like she was in a hurry to release you, but they couldn't say why they were keeping you. It was frustrating, but we are trying to be patient. We also were really, really, really relieved when we found out that your birth mom signed the paperwork today that would allow us to take you home from the hospital! (Even though the social worker didn't bother to tell us, we had to find out from the facilitator, Nancy). It was such a relief to find out that we were one step closer to your adoption being finalized! It had been a very stressful weekend, especially with the social worker telling us every time she saw us that we might not be able to be a family. We took some fun videos, but not as many pictures today. You were stylin' in the onesie that Mommy's friend Laura sent with us to celebrate the holiday!
