Jack Goes Shopping

As usual, you started the day with a smile. Mama thought you were old enough to try out a new toy, and sure enough, you loved the soft puppy that Grant, Pierce and Emory gave you.
You and Mama soon took off to go towel shopping, and we went A LOT of places before we finally found what we were looking for. But you didn't mind, because for the very first time, mostly because her back was hurting really bad and she couldn't physically haul you into the store IN your carseat, Mama put you in the front seat of the shopping cart. You LOVED it!! You chuckled your way down each new aisle, and smiled and dimpled at every passerby. It took forever to get to the back of every store, because almost every female customer would stop to coo over you. You, my son, are a flirt of shocking magnitude.
Even waiting for the sales clerk to process our return and check us out, you continued to turn up the charm, sitting on the counter and smacking the plastic pad with your palms (it was a new sound AND a new feel - BONANZA! In fact, you were such a hit that she asked us to stay while she called up the other associates from the back of the store so they could see you "You won't believe how cute this baby is!"
We were gone all day long shopping, closing it out with picking Daddy up at the airport as he flew back in from a Chicago Friday. You loved waiting at the airport for Daddy's flight to arrive - sitting in the driver's seat is your absolute favorite place in the car.
You love going to sleep next to your Dad. You fell asleep on the way home from the airport, but you always wake up when we take you out of the carseat. So Mama just tucked you into the bed next to a tired Daddy and you were both asleep in minutes!
