Water Bottles and Tantrums

Your favorite toy lately has been, you guessed it, the water bottle. Whenever you watch mama drink from one, you do your utmost to grab it and squeeze it as hard as you can. And then Mama takes an impromptu shower, or it goes up her nose-or both. Finally I just started giving them to you to play with, instead of normal toys. You are very convinced that you can make something come out of it - either that, or it's really good for teething.

Pretty convincing ad campaign to show us what a big boy you are now, huh?

You have also figured out that any time we reached down to pick you up from the ground, we reach underneath your arms. Your latest move is to hold your arms out to your sides and 'assume the position' anytime you are done being on the floor, or being in one spot. If not respond to right away, you commence to scream. Your little face gets so, so sad that inevitably we drop what we're doing and come running. But today, your hard hearted mama took a moment to snap photos before picking you up. Your posterity will thank me.
